Muses 2025 “Kindred Spirit” Award Honor
December 9th, The Country Club of Little Rock
Annual Fundraiser & Gala Concert
A Muses Kindred Spirit recognizes the value of the Classical Arts in creating inspiration and excellence through artistic, educational and cultural opportunities for the general betterment of the community.
Please save the date, Tuesday, December 9th, and join us for the Muses’ 2025 “Kindred Spirit Award” Gala Dinner and Concert, at the Country Club of Little Rock. This year’s award recipients are Lynn and George O’Connor. Typically, this event is held in September, however, we have postponed the gala and dinner component of the annual Kindred Spirit fundraiser until December. This celebration will be filled with Sacred Christmas and holiday music.
A Muses Kindred Spirit recognizes the value of the Classical Arts in creating inspiration and excellence through artistic, educational and cultural opportunities for the general betterment of the community. As business leaders and major philanthropists, Lynn and George have made an enormous impact since moving to Little Rock from Houston and Camden, AR. George and his family have been major donors to the renovation of the Arkansas Art Center and the newly renovated Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts. Lynn and George have been passionate and invaluable supporters of the expansion of Access Academy in Little Rock, which offers the most comprehensive special education program in the state. This a great example of how the two of them often work as a team. George has served and supported many nonprofits, like the Pathway to Freedom prison ministry in Wrightsville, and they have been stalwart supporters of the Muses Project. In honor of the life-long philanthropic legacy of this amazing couple, we are inviting you to help us honor them by showing support for the Muses, an organization they dearly love, with a Mission they share as Kindred Spirits.
The Muses Project believes that classical artistic education, creative and critical thinking, and high-quality cultural experiences through live performance are not frivolous undertakings, but crucial to a well-rounded and healthy community. Each year, utilizing the talents of highly skilled professional performers in mentoring and collegial roles with students and young artists, the Muses Project produces a series of multi-disciplinary concert events at the Muses Cultural Arts Center in Hot Springs, and tours throughout the state.
Please consider supporting The Muses Project, by becoming a sponsor, sustaining partner or by giving a meaningful gift in honor of Lynn and George O’Connor, and please join us for a unique, entertaining Gala-style Sacred Christmas concert and dinner on December 9th. You will be inspired by spectacular professional performers from around the country and members of the Muses’ troupe of young artists and vocal apprentices. It is only through philanthropic support that high quality artistic programming will continue to exist in our communities.
